My main issue is that as a raider I won't have a choice. On the upside i can just swap my loot spec to arms and never bother with the 1h drops. I think we will see alot of fury mains swapping to arms. Now I will have to sim every single weapon I get and pray that I can get 2 2h or 2 1h and not a mix.

I don't understand the transmog, there are many classes that wield 1h.Īs a fury main it sucks. gladiator's stance Comment by Anol on T14:25:55-05:00 I'm still holding out hope for Gladiator Stance! Comment by Sesyl91 on T14:25:09-05:00 now give us shamans a cool windfury animation please. Comment by zugzugzuug on T14:22:55-05:00Ĭool for warriors i am glad for them. We'll have to wait and see how that turns out. It's still a good addition to the game, as player choice is always a nice thing to add, it just poses the possibility that it results in being slightly pigeonholed into a certain build due to other mechanics in the game, if you're the type who min-maxes. Then there is the other possibility that due to the 8% damage bonus of single-minded, if it applies to all damage done like it reads, can be used to enhance the damage of your Soulbinds or whatever new awesome trinkets there will be. Or in the opposite scenario, if there is a new one hander sword that has a powerful effect on it, then it would most likely still cause a sizeable amount of players to play only one version, even if they like the transmog/aesthetic of one over the other. The problem I can foresee with dual vers single-minded fury is if there are any weapons that come with unique effects on them in Shadowlands, such as Geti'ikku in BfA, as it will still inadvertently make one version of fury more potent than the other. Now give 2h weps to enha shams :P Comment by TheRedRogue on T14:22:14-05:00 OH SHIIIIIIIIIIET Comment by Zondy on T14:20:42-05:00 "Whatever your take on this change, it's certainly a welcome addition for a large and loud part of the community who have been adamantly arguing for its return!" Many players suggested the compromise of simply lifting transmog restrictions, allowing players to transmog their two-handed weapons into their preferred one-handers, but that might open the door for other weird interactions, such as Retribution Paladins wanting to transmog to a single one-handed weapon instead of their two-handed one. Balance is also a consideration, as invariably one setup ends up stronger than the other, either due to tuning or weapon availability. This is exacerbated by personal loot automatically awarding you gear whether you necessarily want the item or not, but existed in previous expansions even when Master Loot was still an option.
Ascension wow dual wield windfury build upgrade#
That said, the re-addition of SMF does cause some potential problems - because one and two handed weapons still cannot be mixed and matched, it will be all too easy to acquire a two-handed weapon upgrade when you only have one-handers or vice-versa, effectively making it harder to gear effectively than before.

More options are never bad, and it's important that players be able to feel a connection to their preferred playstyle, especially when it was something that initially drew them to the class, but was removed over time. Two-handed weapons deal more damage, and provide more Strength and Stamina, than one-handed weapons. Titan's Grip Allows you to dual-wield a pair of two-handed weapons.NEW While dual-wielding a pair of one-handed weapons, your damage done is increased by 8% and your movement speed is increased by 5%.
